Dermal Fillers
What are dermal fillers?
Dermal fillers are substances injected into skin to diminish facial lines and restore volume and fullness in the face.
RHA® by Revance and Revanesse Versa are FDA approved dermal fillers made of hyaluronic acid using the latest technology and a gentler process for more natural results.
How do they work?
1
There are several different types of dermal fillers available. The most common are made from hyaluronic acid (HA) which is a sugar molecule that is naturally present in your skin and helps retain moisture and plumpness. As we age, our production of hyaluronic acid decreases which contributes to skin laxity and volume loss. Hyaluronic acid dermal fillers not only add volume to skin but can also promote collagen production. They are mainly injected in various locations in the face as well as other body parts that have volume loss such as the hands. The beauty of HA fillers, unlike others, is that they are reversible and can be dissolved if needed.
At Reniu MedSpa safety is our priority therefore, a high frequency ultrasound device, is utilized to map out your blood vessels prior to your procedure to ensure proper and safe placement of dermal fillers. The ultrasound device can also be used to dissolve fillers with more precision when needed.
